Chapter Fishing Trips Over the Last Several Years

The 2016 trip along with several were made possible by The Fraternal Order of Eagles. We'd like to thank them for their continued support. Also we'd like to thank everyone at Fisherman's Wharf along with the captain and first mate of the Irish Drifter for taking us out. They are located in Port Clinton, Ohio.

This years trip was a little later than most years. We went in the middle of September on a Saturday. Usually we catch a lot of yellow perch but this year was very different, all together we only caught 45 fish that were kept. The ones that were caught were spitting up minnows and even walleye that were hatched earlier in the spring could be found half eaten. That's why it's called fishing not catching. There's always next year . As in years past the Fraternal Order of Eagles helped with the cost of the trip, we can't thank them enough. If you or your organization would like to help with our 2019 trip contact Hank Barney.
